Breathing life into bus shelters
Reinventing bus shelters to bring the world of Netflix 'Altered Carbon' to life (literally) on Santa Monica boulevard.
Our Challenger Thinking
Netflix is the largest creator of original content and strives to maintain a permanent spot on the shortlist of pop culture’s most beloved brands. To do that, the marketing for their original series must spark as much joy and conversation as the content itself.
The goal was no different for Altered Carbon, a sci-fi thriller tackling big questions about ethics, humanity, and the dangers of immortality with a unique premise: Technology has separated humanity from physical bodies, allowing humans to live forever.
The world of Altered Carbon is filled with gorgeous details, enormous cityscapes, and exciting technology. But the standard poster creative we had to show this world to potential fans was just...well...flat. To create intrigue and conversation for launch, we needed to honor the attention to detail paid by the creators in developing the show and expected by fans ready to immerse themselves in the Altered Carbon world .
